Hi everyone and Welcome to Reading University’s Music Society’s (RUMS’s) website.
RUMS is one of the largest societies within the Student Union. It offers a large range of ensembles and concert opportunities to it’s members, as well as a few brilliant nights out!
RUMS rehearse and perform throughout the year at venues across the university and in wider Reading. There are opportunities for soloists and group members to take part.
We offer a friendly (and often funny) musical experience to musicians of all levels. See the tabs above for information on all the ensembles.
RUMS membership is open to students for £10/year and non-students for £12/year, it allows you to join an unlimited number of ensembles and choirs.
